Gearing Up for the
2010 Albuquerque Cultural Conference

The third Albuquerque Cultural Conference will be held at Harwood Art Center on Labor Day Weekend, September 3-6, 2010.

The title for this year’s conference is “Crisis, Community, and Performance: Building a Resilient Society.” We’ll consider the presence of trauma and resilience in modern society and the role of performance art in particular in providing a pathway to social change.

Once again we’ll feature a Friday night performance by invited guests of the conference, followed by two days of panels and informal evening readings by conference participants.

The Albuquerque Cultural Conference blog is now open for conversations about the themes of the conference. Online registration will begin on June 1.
